Set Control Table

Hi all,
Plz Explain the purpose of Stt Control Table...!

I am having issue in the upgrade project.. the SETID returned from the set control table is a wrong when compared with the previous version.
where i can find the sql which gets the value from the set control table...i cant even find that in trace file...
Both version tables are having similar values.

What version are you upgrading from and to? The older versions didn't have set id, set controls so there's nothing there to compare to. Pls let us know where you're coming from and going to. That will help.
