In Set processing data can be processed in Bulk rows at a time
In paralell processing, Parallely jobs are processing data.
Data can be divided in logically groups and can be processed

Efficient programs can be created using set processing techniques. Application Engine was designed with this technique in mind. Set processing is the opposite of row-by-row processing. Set processing can also be referred to as mass update.

SQR update a table (row-by-row) compared to AE set processing.

@iSHUKLA, 

Doesn't Set processing Technique means setting up the Priority Preference Timing to the application for its stimulation or live data processing !

And Parallel and Set Processing techniques can be used to be side by side ?

Kindly Clear it Further more.
