Web Service Monitoring

Hello,

I was wondering how to monitor web service calls.
I have a sync request peoplecode via AE to an external web service.

request is going fine and getting the required response back. but i dont see these messages online under synchronous services monitoring.

is there a way to log web service call here.

Check your Service Operation, Routing settings for this web service (navigation: PeopleTools> Integration Broker> Integration Setup> Service Operations: Routings tab: Click on the active routing). There is an option "*Log Detail" which controls whether the synchronous monitor gets updated for each request. This by default is set to "No Logging", but you can change it to 'Header' or "Header and Detail" depending upon what you want to see ( I typically use the latter).

Also note...You can also use gateway logging to monitor service operations, but you would need to either setup ig.log.level=5 in the gateway properties file, or else use on demand gateway logging which separates gateway logs by transaction. (This is setup in Service Operations Monitor, Administration).
