SQLEXEC is used to execute the sql statements (select, insert,update,delete).
We can get only one row at a time.

SQLExec function is used to perform database operation (insert,update,delete,select etc) from peoplecode. It starts a new session for database connection & commits.

SQLExec function is used to perform database operation (insert,update,delete,select etc) from peoplecode. It starts a new session for database connection & commits. and also effects the performance 

it is better to use CreateSQL, which loads multiple data and u can play with data without making connections to the database.
